About

Welcome to AquaLifeTank.

I’m Benjamin, an aquarium, and fish hobbyist for more than three decades now.

Here I tell you a little bit about myself, why I created aqualifetank.com and why you can rest assured that the information I provide to readers of this blog is rock solid.

When my fish-keeping journey started

I started the aquarium hobby on a fateful Christmas day decades ago. Indeed, my parents knew I was fascinated with fish so at the age of 11, they surprised me with a fish tank as a Christmas present.

I have always dreamed of keeping fish as I watched my local fishermen carrying their daily catch. I began collecting aquariums as well as breeding fish. Like many, I learned “on the job”, aquarium after aquarium, fish after fish.

I had no clue about keeping a fish tank healthy, so I complemented my “on the job” learning with an active study of articles, books, video materials about the topic.

In no time, I built my aquarium collection by selling my newborn fry to stores in return for aqua life equipment.

My passion for aquarium fish never wavered after finishing college and I kept consuming everything about fish tank, aquariums and alike.

As a result of my experience with aquariums and fish, I have decided to build this blog.

My goal is to answer all your questions – and even those you haven’t asked yourself yet – so you can take care of your fish and aquariums. From one passionate to another passionate!
